MPS Pre Screening Checklist

Daily Health Screening:

Each day, please check your child for the symptoms listed below:

If your child has any of the symptoms listed above, please see below.

Unvaccinated individuals and any close contacts presenting these symptoms should follow testing and quarantine response protocols as outlined in Section 2 of this document.

Vaccinated individuals who are not close contacts should follow the testing and quarantine response protocols in Section 2 of this document if they are experiencing symptoms listed above in bold. These individuals may also seek clinical guidance to assess the need for PCR testing if they have other symptoms on this list.

Process for scheduling a testing appointment:

  1. Call your child’s primary care physician or local community health center.
  2. Call your child’s school nurse.  A list of test sites across Massachusetts is available here and test sites throughout Boston can be found here. In addition, Massachusetts and Boston also have interactive testing maps (Massachusetts & Boston).

Milton Public Schools Commitment to Care holds each of us responsible to help keep our students, staff and community safe. Once a student reports to school, we do not require proof of screening. We will use the honor system and students who present with symptons may be asked to return home.
