In the box given below, draw your own spot of confidence it has a strong appearance like strong hands and legs. Color it orange!
Here are some of the ways through which you can help your confidence spot to grow:
- Saying words of affirmation- Words of affirmation can include:
- Saying nice things about yourself. E.g. “I am kind, I am brave.”
- Encouraging yourself by saying, “ I can do this” or “I got this.”
- Telling yourself “I am doing a good job”
- Telling yourself that “it is okay to make mistakes.
- Setting small goals can help you feel more confident.
- Add the word “Yet” at the end of negative sentences about yourself. For e.g. I can not do it” will become, “ I can not do it yet.”
- You can grow your own confidence spot by helping other people grow their spots. You can help other people grow their confidence by saying nice things about them.
