Judo, Track, and Volleyball to States this weekend

Our track teams will get things off and running on Friday at the HHSAA State Track & Field Championships hosted by Kamehameha-Kapalama, with field events starting at 1:30pm.  Volleyball will serve up its quest for a championship at the HHSAA State Volleyball Semifinals at McKinley High School at 5:30pm.  Judo will be seeking titles at the HHSAA State Judo Championships at the Stan Sherriff Center on the University of Hawaii campus on Saturday at 10:30am. Good luck to all of our teams at States!

Volleyball move into the Final Four

With their win over Waianae last Saturday, our boys volleyball team will face Punahou in the semifinals on Friday, March 9 at McKinley High School gym on Oahu. First serve is scheduled for 5:30pm.  Good luck to our Na Alii!

HHSAA State Volleyball Bracket Set

Our Na Alii boys volleyball team will be hosting quarter final play at Kekaulike Gymnasium on Saturday at 3:00pm. Kekaulike will play host to the winner of the Leilehua and Waianae of the OIA. HHSAA admission is $7.00 for adults, $5.00 for Seniors (age 62 and over), and Students (K-12). Concession and doors will open an hour before game time.

Congratulations to our tennis doubles teams for representing Kekaulike in the HHSAA State Tennis Championships this morning at Wailea and Makena Tennis Courts. Aaron Monoogan and Meric Griffith represented our boys, while Jaccie Hisashima and Emi Abe, our girls. Congratulations to both teams, and Coach Dela Cruz and Coach Abe for another memorable season.

Thank you to the all the community and school members who volunteered their time on Saturday to help kick start the Na Alii Stadium project. Volunteers came to help repaint, clean, and maintain our stadium and campus landscape. The project is the first phase of the Na Alii Athletic complex upgrade project that is still ongoing.

Track & Field Girls Take 3rd overall in MIL Championship

Our Na Alii Girls track team took 3rd overall and our boys 5th in this weekend's MIL Championship. Jonalei Aguirre was our lone girls champion in the high jump, while our boys 400 meter relay team won the gold with a 43.44 time.  Jay Braun won the gold in both the 100 and 200 meter sprint and Corry Brown added another gold in the high jump.  Jake Jacobs won the silver in the 400m. Kayela Santiago won the silver in the 100m and long jump, and a bronze in the 200m. Brooks Carillo won the silver in the triple jump.  Our girls 400m relay team won the silver with a 51.05 time, and 1600m with a 4:32.47 finish.  Congratulations and good luck at States.

Boys Volleyball to Host State Regional Quarterfinals

Our Boys Volleyball team will play host to the HHSAA Regional Quarterfinals game here at Kekaulike on Saturday, May 3, 2014 at 3pm.  The Na Alii are still awaiting to see who they will play.  All seeding and HHSAA tournament schedules will be out on Sunday.  More info to come!  Congratulations Na Alii!

Kekaulike Surf Team Takes Second Overall in MIL Championships

Both our Girls and Boys Surf team took second overall in the first ever MIL Surf Championships held this past Saturday at Ho'okipa Beach.  Cody Young, brought home the gold in the shortboard division and Don Thompson, 4th place in the bodyboard division.  Ginger and Amber Prados brought home the gold and silver in the bodyboard division for the girls.  Congratulations to Coach Matt Brown and the entire Kekaulike Surf team!

Our Thoughts and Prayers to the Wong 'Ohana

On Saturday, April 12, 2014 Kekaulike lost a family member of our school, department, and community. Mrs. Joannie Wong-Fortney, P.E. Teacher and former coach passed away.  Mrs. Wong-Fortney is an inspiration to us all and her legacy will continue to live on through her family, friends, students, and colleagues.  Our hearts and prayers go out to the Wong 'Ohana.

Track and Field Take Top in Events

Kayela Santiago and Brooks Carillo took 3rd and 4th place respectively in the Long Jump. Carillo also took 1st in the Triple jump.  Jonalei Aguirre finished 2nd in the High Jump.  Jay Braun took the 100 and 200 title, while Jake Jacobs took the 400 meter title.

Na Alii Judoka Bring Home 7 Titles

Kalai Joy, Jaime Hoe, and Alysa Fusato took the 103, 139, and 129 titles Saturday at Kamehameha Schools MIL Meet #2.  Daniel Ai took the 108 title, Hollis Atkinson the 121 title, Aukai Joy the 132 title, and Jonathan Jacinto the 196 title.  Aleysa Grace Sabado finished 2nd in the 98 class. Siara Lyn Martelles took 3rd in the 109.  Angelee Watson finished 3rd in the 115.  Kelci Peterson finished 3rd in the 122.  Hii Palakiko took 2nd while Deedra Fabella finshed 4th in the 129.  Colby Hanley, Jr. fiinshed 3rd in the 108. Dax Camoin finished 2nd in the 145.  Dreyvyn Tavares finished 3rd in the 161, while Jospeh Metz finished 2nd in the 285 division.

Baseball starts things off on Monday facing Maui high at 6pm at Maehara.  On Tuesday, Water Polo will face Seabury Hall at 6pm at Kihei Aquatic and Volleyball will travel to Lahainaluna at 6:30pm.  Wednesday, Baseball will start its 3 game series against Lahainaluna at Maehara at 3:30pm.  Also at 3:30pm, our Tennis team will be at Kamehameha.  Thursday, at 4pm, our Water Polo team will travel to Kamehameha, Baseball against Lahainaluna at 6pm, while Volleyball will travel to Baldwin at 6:30pm.  On Friday, Baseball will wrap up their series against the Lunas at 3:30pm, JV Track and Field Championships begin at 4pm at War Memorial.  On Saturday, Judo will be at Maui High beginning at 10am.  Softball will face Kamehameha at Mink Field at 12 noon, and Volleyball will be back at home against Lahainaluna at 6:30pm in Kekaulike Gymnasium.

Our Volleyball team won in three against Maui High yesterday, 25-16, 25-22, and 25-21 and is now 5-1.  Our Na Alii remain on the road as they travel to Lahainaluna on Tuesday, at 6:30pm.

Surfing Body Boarding Wins Again

In the second MIL Surf meet held yesterday at Flemings' Beach, our girls body boarding team took the overall body board title with Ginger Prados and Amber Prados taking first and second place in the finals and second overall in the team title.  Miles Serafica finished 3rd in the boys short board division, while Analu Amadeo finished in 5th in the body board division.  Tasha Jahmarkt finished 4th and Serene Gunnison 5th in the girls short board division.  The final meet of the season is on April 19th at 7am at Hookipa for the MIL Championship.

Water Polo and Volleyball Win On Road

Congratulations to our Water Polo and Volleyball teams who won last night.  Water Polo won 11-8 over Maui High last night at Kihei Aquatic Center, while our Na Alii Volleyball won 3-1 against Kamehameha in their D1 matchup. Our Boys will square off against the Sabers at Maui High tomorrow, Saturday, at 12 noon.

Surf Meet at DT Flemmings'

Our second MIL surf meet will be held at Flemmings' Beach Park this Saturday at 7am.  The MIL held its very first surf meet, a first in the State and nation, ever at Lahaina Harbor last Saturday.  Our Na Alii, coached by Matt Brown made history with Cody Young catching the first wave on short board competition and earning the first score of the event.  Our Girls body board team won the first ever overall title led by sisters Ginger and Amber Prados.  Our team that competed were Cody Young, Miles Serafica, Analu Amadeo, Noa Durang, Nick Ricca, Amber Prados, Ginger Prados, Serene Gunnison, and Tasha Jahrmarkt.  Congratulations for making history and representing Kekaulike.  Good luck this weekend!

Kekaulike to host HPU & BYUH Womens Volleyball Saturday

Kekaulike Athletics in partnership with Hawaiian Style Volleyball Club will be hosting an NCAA Division II Pac West exhibition match on Saturday featuring Hawaii Pacific University and Brigham Young University-Hawaii here at Kekaulike Gymnasium at 5pm.  General seating and admission will be $7 at the door.  Gates open at 4pm.  Pre sale tickets can be purchased at KKHS Main Office for $5 or online at www.hawaiianstylevbc.com. $5 General Parking.  As a reminder, Kekaulike is a drug, tobacco, and alcohol free school.

Today our Boys Golf team will be facing Baldwin at Pukalani CC at 3:30pm.  Tennis is at Wells Park as they square off with Baldwin today at 2:00pm.  Tomorrow, Water Polo will be in Kihei as they play Kamehameha at 5pm while our Boys Volleyball team will be at home hosting Seabury at 6pm.  Friday and Saturday our Track team will be competing in the annual Yamamoto's track meet at 4pm at War Memorial. Friday our Boys Golf will be at Kahili GC against Baldwin at 3:30pm. On Saturday, our softball team will play Baldwin at Mink Field at 12 noon.

Volleyball Fall In Five

Our Boys Volleyball team came back to win the third and fourth set after dropping the first two to Hana in a game that went to five, with Hana winning the last set 15-12.  Kekaulike will square off against the Spartans of Seabury on Thursday, right here at Kekaulike Gymnasium at 6:30pm.

Golf & Tennis Open Up Season

The Golf and Tennis teams opened up MIL play. The Boys golf team lost last week to Maui Prep but look to bounce back this week against Kamehameha on Wednesday and Saturday.  Tennis lost a close one yesterday against Baldwin in their MIL season opener. Tennis will be back on the courts on Wednesday here at Kekaulike against Kamehameha at 3:30pm.

Diving Into History

Jonalei Aguirre (Sr.) qualified for the finals of the HHSAA Diving Championships this past weekend on the Kamehameha Big Island campus and ended her season 8th overall in State competition. Jonalei is our first ever diver at Kekaulike to qualify for the finals. She was one of two finalist from the public school leagues and the only outer island representative. Congratulations and thank you Jonalei, for your efforts and proudly representing Kekaulike and the MIL, we are all so very proud of you!

Boys Basketball Season Comes To End

After coming off a convincing win in the first round of MIL tournament play last night against Kamehameha, our Na Alii Boys Basketball season ended with tonight's loss in the MIL Tournament to Baldwin.  We're very proud of our team for their efforts throughout the season.  Mahalo to Coach Naylor and staff, the families and especially the fans (Na Alii Nation) for their continued support.

Boys Basketball Host MIL Play In Game Tonight

Our Boys Basketball team will play host in the MIL Tournament Play In Game tonight against Kamehameha at 7pm here at Kekaulike Gymnasium.  The winner of tonight's game will play Baldwin tomorrow night at Kamehameha's gymnasium at 5:30pm.  Because this is the MIL Tournament, as with host site Kamehameha, no MIL cards other than All Pass and MIL Pass lists will be accepted at door.

Our Boys Volleyball program will be hosting try outs this Tuesday and Wednesday.  All student athletes trying out must have a current and completed physical and all other forms turned in to Athletic Trainer in order to actively participate.

Na Alii Wahine Basketball Season Ends

Congratulations to our Na Alii Wahine Basketball team for representing Kekaulike and Maui well in this years' HHSAA State Tournament.  Our Girls fell to #2 and defending State Champion Punahou of the ILH 62-39 on Saturday's quarter final play. Girls Basketball Moves On

Our Girls Basketball team came from behind to a 54-51 victory against Moanalua of the OIA in State tournament play at McKinley High School.  The first ever team in Kekaulike's Girls Basktball history to move on to quarter final play. Congratulations to Coach Cy and our Na Alii Wahine!

Girls Basketball Draw Moanalua in First Round of States

Our Na Alii Wahine will square off against Moanalua of the OIA on Friday at McKinley HS on Oahu at 5pm.  A victory, in this single elimination format, will move them on and keep them on Oahu to face Punahou on Saturday at 3pm at the Blaisdell Center.  Good luck to our Na Alii Wahine!

Athletics This Week

Today our Wrestling team is at Maui HS for a dual meet at 6pm.  Thursday afternoon our Baseball team will open up pre season play against Waiakea at Iron Maehara Stadium at 1pm.  Thursday night our Boys Basketball team will be travelling to Maui HS to face the Sabers at 7pm.  Friday night our Girls Basketball team will be facing Moanalua in quarter final play of the HHSAA State Tournament at 5pm at McKinley HS on Oahu. Saturday morning our Wrestling team will be at Baldwin, meet starts at 10am.  Basketball will be at home against Baldwin at 7pm.  Come out and support all of our teams!

Tennis Try Out Change of Dates

Girls Basketball to States

Our Girls Basketball team's 63-33 victory over Maui high this past Saturday secured the MIL's second berth and their State Tournament appearance on Friday, February 7th. The site which they'll be playing at for the HHSAA Tournament will be determined in the next week.  Congratulations to the Na Alii Wahine and Coach Cy Peters and staff for representing Kekaulike in the MIL and good luck to them in the HHSAA State Tournament.

Our Boys Soccer and Basketball teams fell to Baldwin last night.  Our JV Girls Softball team is visiting the Lunas of Lahainaluna today in Lahaina at 4pm.  Our Boys Basketball team is back on the court on Thursday at home as they take on the Maui Sabers at 7pm.  Our Girls Basketball team will also be playing Maui on Thursday at Baldwin HS Gym in the semi final game at 7pm of MIL Tournament play.  Paddling will be at Hanakao'o at 10:30am on Saturday. Also on Saturday, our Swimming team will be at Kihei Aquatic Center at 10:00am.  JV Baseball will be in Lahaina at 12pm. Our Swimming & Diving team will be competing on Friday at the Kihei Aquatic Center at 5pm and then again on Saturday at Kamehameha at 10am.  

On Saturday our Wrestling team will be competing also at Kamehameha beginning at 10:00am.  Paddling will be in Kihei at Ka Lae Pohaku at 10:30am.  JV Softball will be hosting Kamehameha at Eddie Tam at  10:00am.  JV Baseball plays a double header against Maui High at Eddie Tam at 12pm and again at 2:30pm. Our Boys Soccer will be visiting Seabury Hall at 4:00pm and our Boys Basketball team will play host at Kekaulike Gymnasium at 7:00pm.

Boys Soccer Wins

The Boys Soccer team scored 8 goals in their shutout against Maui.  Our Girls fell to the Sabers in the second game of the evening.  Our Girls will finish up their season on Thursday against St Anthony at War Memorial at 7pm, while our Boys will be traveling to Seabury Hall on Saturday at 4pm.

The Girls' Soccer program will be celebrating their four seniors tonight at their last home game here at Na Alii Stadium.  The four seniors are Maddison Anderson, Tyler Corpuz (Captain), Brianna Oerry, and Kayela Santiago(Captain).  The Na Alii will face Maui High tonight with the Boys starting things off at 5pm, and followed by our Girls at 7pm. Boys Soccer will kick things off against the Lunas of Lahainaluna tomorrow at Lahaina Youth Center at 4pm. Our Swimming team will be competing in day one of two day competition at Kihei Aquatics Center at 5pm and again on Saturday at 9am.  JV Girls soccer will face off against the Bears at 5pm at War Memorial followed by our Varsity Girls at 7pm.  Girls Basketball will be celebrating Senior Night against Baldwin here on campus at Kekaulike Gymnasium at 7pm.  On Saturday, our JV softball team will play its first of their double header at Maui High against Baldwin at 10am and then against Lahainaluna at 2pm.  Wrestling will open MIL season at Lahainaluna High School at 10am, while Paddling will be hosting at Kahului Harbor at 10:30am.

Tennis Tryouts To Begin

Basketball Thriller At Maui High

Last night our Girls Basketball team(6-4) won 53-40 in the first game. Our Na Alii Wahine will play Baldwin here at Kekaulike Gymnasium tomorrow night at 7pm.  Our Boys (2-2) lost a last second shot thriller at Maui High last night 44-42.  Our Boys will play again next week Tuesday when they visit Kamehameha at 7pm.

Soccer Wins Double Header

Our Boys soccer team won the first game against Seabury Hall 8-1 with the Girls following up with a 5-0 win sweeping last night's double header.  Our Boys will be idle until the December 28th when they travel to Kamehameha at 5pm.  Our JV Girls will open things up on Saturday's home double header at 5pm as they will face the Sabers of Maui, while our Girls Varsity will square off against the Lunas of Lahainaluna at 7pm.  Parking gates will open at 3:30pm and spectators are reminded to park in designated marked stalls in lot nearest tennis courts (Kula Highway).

Home Double Headers Dominate Athletics This Week

Girls Basketball will start things off this week as the Warriors of Kamehameha visit us here on campus on Wednesday, December 18th. Tip off is at 7pm.  

On Thursday, Boys Soccer will play the first game of the double header against the Spartans of Seabury Hall at 5pm, followed by the Girls at 7pm here at Na Alii Stadium.  

Friday, December 20th, we feature another home double header, this time against Lahainaluna for basketball here at Kekaulike Gymnasium.  Our Boys JV squad will open things up at 5:30pm, followed by our Varsity Girls team at 7pm.  

On Saturday, our JV Boys Soccer team will open up MIL play in their two game match up with Baldwin at 9am, and Lahainaluna at 10:30am. Both games are at War Memorial.  Swimming will be competing in MIL meet #2 at the Kihei Aquatic Center at 10am.  Paddling has their 2nd MIL meet at Kahului Harbor at 10:30am. Wrapping up the weekend will be another home soccer double header as our JV Girls will face the saber of Maui at 5pm and our Girls Varsity plays Lahainaluna at 7pm at Na Alii Stadium.

Soccer Teams Drops Triple Header

Basketball Girls Win

Our Na Alii Wahine Basketball team won in thrilling fashion last night in a 55-54 shootout against the Lady Sabers at Maui High to close out the first round of MIL play.  Our Na Alii Wahine (3-1)  will face Kamehameha next Wednesday to open up the second round.

Soccer Triple Header This Weekend

The Boys Varsity Soccer team won 2-0 against Maui last night at Maui High.  Our JV Girls played to a 0-0 tie last night also against Maui, while our Varsity Girls fell 6-1 to Kamehameha in the second game of last night's soccer double header.  All three teams will be facing the Bears of Baldwin this Saturday in a triple header at Na Alii Stadium here on Kekaulike's campus beginning with our Girls JV at 10am, followed by our Boys Varsity at 12 noon, and our Girls Varsity capping things off at 2pm.

Basketball sweeps double header

JV Boys Basketball pulled out an exciting 63-61 win last night against the Sabers of Maui, while our Varsity Girls followed suit against the Lady Bears of Baldwin with a 62-40 victory.  The JV Boys will travel to Kamehameha on Saturday at 5:30pm, while our Na Alii Wahine will travel to Maui High on Friday at 7pm.  Our Varsity Boys will be travelling to Lanai for a two game pre season match up on Friday and Saturday. Games are at 7pm and 3pm respectively.

The Girls JV Soccer kicks off their season tonight against Maui at 5pm in the first game of tonight's MIL double header here on campus at Na Alii Stadium.  The Varsity Na Alii Wahine will try to get back on track after their 2-0 loss against Maui this past Saturday, tonight against the Warriors of Kamehameha at 7pm following the JV Girls.  Our Boys Varsity Soccer team (2-0) is at Maui High today at 4pm.

Boys Soccer Wins Again

The Na Alii Boys Soccer team got off to a quick start winning their MIL Season opener 3-0 against the Lunas of Lahainaluna on Tuesday.  Kekaulike won again last night, this time against with a 6-0 win the Trojans of St. Anthony at War Memorial.  Kekaulike will travel to face the Sabers of Maui on Tuesday, December 10 at 4p.

Na Alii Wahine Earn State Berth

Na Ali'i Wahine Enter Tourney Play Tonight

Volleyball Says Aloha to Seniors

Seniors Kalia Aguera, Kristin Egger, Brandy Feliciano-Benton, Dasya Tavares, and Cynthia Kealoha served up their last service with their teammates and coaches at Kekaulike Gymnasium one last time in front of family and friends. The five seniors were wished off and celebrated senior night in their last home game and regular season ender.  The Na Alii Wahine (8-4) are now gearing up for the MIL Tournament which begins on Tuesday at Lahainaluna High School.

Volleyball "Digs Pink" with Victories

Our Girls' Volleyball program wore their pink in support of Breast Cancer Awareness month on Tuesday night.  Our JV girls remained undefeated and our Varsity swept the Bears of Baldwin in three.  The victory however, comes from the awareness and information shared at the game, but more so the proceeds generated from that night will go towards the Maui Memorial Cancer Unit who offers free mammograms and the American Cancer Society.  Thank you to the Baldwin Volleyball teams for sporting their pink as well, and to all of you who attended, your support and generosity is greatly appreciated.  Thank you for making that night a success!

Former Na Alii inducted to 3.0 Club

Former Na Alii standout, Blair Havron was inducted to the 3.0 Club at American International College in Springfield, Mass.  This club honors student athletes who've earned a 3.0 or better grade point average.  Havron is a member of the Volleyball team and a Nursing Major.

Football Victories for Homecoming Weekend

Our Na Alii JV started the Homecoming Festivities with a 48-13 win over Kamehameha. The "Time to Come Home" theme brought home many alumni and former Kekaulike teachers as well. After the traditional parade of classes, feeder schools, and alumnus, our Varsity took the field to an awesome crowd of fans. The 12th man showing of fans from our school and community helped to electrify our team to a 36-31 down to the wire victory. Our teams take the field this Saturday against the Lunas of Lahainaluna, JV will kick things off at 4:30pm followed by the Varsity at 7pm.

Athletics This Homecoming Week

Girls' Volleyball starts our Homecoming week off at home in Kekaulike Gymnasium against the Lady Sabers of Maui High on Tuesday, September 24 at 4:30p, Varsity to follow at 6p.  On Thursday, our Na Ali'i Wahine head across the street to Kamehameha. JV starts at 4:30p, followed by Varsity at 6p.  Homecoming for football features our Na Ali'i and the Warriors of Kamehameha in the annual Pohaku Ku'i Poi Game. JV starts at 4:30p and Varsity to follow at 7p. Air Riflery will be at St Anthony on Saturday at 8am. Cross Country is in Hana at 10am.  Our Girls' JV Volleyball is hosting a JV Tournament beginning at 10am here at Kekaulike Gym.  Bowling will be facing Maui High at 2:30pm. Good luck to all of our Na Ali'i this week!

Air Riflery Takes 1st in Home Meet

Fall Sports Pep Rally Held Today

Mahalo to the students and staff for an awesome Fall Sports pep rally this morning in Kekaulike Gym.  The Na Alii definitely showed their school spirit and pride for all of our fall sports teams.  Performances by our band, cheer team, and Dance Force added even more excitement and spirit to the class competitions and fall sport team recognition! Our students, our student-athletes, our school.  We are Kekaulike!

Congratulations Girls' Volleyball!

Congratulations to our Na Alii Wahine volleyball team for their 3-1 victory over Kamehameha, ending their 20 game win streak last night at the Warriors' home gym.  Na Alii are now (3-1overall) and will face Lahainaluna next Thursday at Kekaulike Gym.  JV starts at 4:30pm and Varsity at 6pm. We hope to see you there!

Informational Girls' Soccer Meeting Tonight

Upcoming Athletic Events

Our Girls Volleyball team fell short last night against Maui High in an exciting five match game.  Our Na Alii Wahine (2-1) will be at Kamehameha on Thursday.  JV starts things off at 4:30 pm followed by the Varsity at 6 pm.  Air Riflery will be at Maui High on Saturday, first relay to start at 8am.

Na Alii Hosts First Air Riflery Meet

Our Boys team finished second in the first ever MIL Air Riflery Meet held here this past Saturday on Kekaulike's campus.  Congratulations to all of our Na Alii shooters and to the coaches and parents for a successful meet.

Na Alii Air Riflery opens up MIL season on another sports filled weekend.

Our Na Alii Wahine Volleyball team started the weekend off with a sweep of Lahainaluna improving to 2-0. Our JV girls, also 2-0, swept the Lunas at Kekaulike Gym on Thursday.  

Our Na Alii Air Riflery teams opened up their seasons this past weekend. Our Boys and Girls teams both finished second in team competition. MIL Meet #2 will be hosted at Kekaulike's rifle range this Saturday, September 7 beginning at 8am.

Cross Country competed in their second meet also on Saturday at the Pit at Keopuolani Park.  Our Girls team finished second and our Boys team finished seventh.  MIL Meet #3 will also be hosted at Na Alii Stadium on Saturday, September 7 beginning at 8am.

Na Alii Bowling competed this weekend against Baldwin at the Maui Bowling Center. In their loss, Na Alii girls, Dtambi Ikeda scored a 147 and Na Alii boys, Shane Quillayen scored a 127 for Kekaulike. Their next match is against Kamehameha on Tuesday, September 4 at 2:30pm.

Capping off the weekend, our Varsity football team showed continued improvement in their loss to Maui High falling to 0-2.  Our JV improved to 2-0. Both teams will face Baldwin this Friday, September 6 at War Memorial.  JV kicks things off at 4:30pm followed by the Varsity at 7pm.

Girls' Volleyball Wins Season Opener

Our Na Alii Wahine opened up MIL play with a 3-1 win over Baldwin tonight in Wailuku.  After losing the first set, Kekaulike rallied back for the win taking the next three sets. Congratulations to our girls and Coach Paschoal and staff.  If you missed out on tonight's exciting match, we hope you'll come out and support our volleyball team on Thursday when they square off against the Lady Lunas of Lahainaluna at home in Kekaulike Gymnasium. JV opens up the action at 4:30pm and Varsity will follow at 6:00pm.  See you all there!

Kwansei Gakuin, Japan Visits Na Alii

Kekaulike Football welcomed back friends from Kwansei Gakuin Fighters, Japan.  KG visited classes and practiced with our team while visiting here on Maui. We wish them good luck in their upcoming season and we look forward to seeing them soon.

College Bound Workshop held for KKHS Student Athletes

Student athletes interested in the college recruitment process attended a workshop in Kekaulike Gym last Friday during Advisory.  General requirements and basic information was given to those in attendance.  Some of the information that was covered is included for viewing or download here (click title) and in our Student Athlete Academic Eligibility link.  A workshop for both the student athlete and their families interested in obtaining more information on the college admissions and college recruiting process is forthcoming.  Please continue to check back for the date of this informational workshop.

Na Wahine Volleyball in KSM Tournament

The Kekaulike girls' volleyball team concludes tournament competition this weekend in the Kamehameha Maui Volleyball Invitational.  Tournament play began on Thursday.  Our Na Alii Wahine open up MIL play in two weeks.

JV Football victorious in Hilo

The JV Football team won their pre season game, 34-7 against the Warriors of Kamehameha-Hawaii in Hilo this morning.  Congratulations to the Na Alii and the coaching staff! The Varsity squad, also in Hilo today is scrimmaging and practicing with Kamehameha - Hawaii.  Both of our teams open up MIL play next weekend.

The DOE Handbook can be found in the Documents link and the video can be found in the CPT Corner link. Viewing of the DOE Risk Management Video is mandatory, please fill out the verification form found below the video after completion.

NCAA Eligibility Center Registration Information Added

The NCAA Eligibility Center Registration process has been added to the Student-Athlete Academic Eligibility link. Here you will find downloadable documents as well as a tutorial video to assist you in the process.  Also available for download is the 2013-14 DOE Academic Eligibility Calendar which includes the determination dates for eligibility and grade check periods for each quarter.
