I am a progressive champion who believes in representation for and by the people rather than corporations and elites.
As your State Representative I will fight for:
• Healthcare as a human right and Medicare for all people in the country.
• A $15 federal minimum wage.
• A repeal of the Trump Tax cuts.
• Immense resources to combat houselessness.
• A comprehensive plan to deal with rising rents in Oregon.
• Getting money out of politics, representatives must not be bought and paid for.
• An end to United States imperialism. •
• Criminal justice reform and harsh punishments for police officers who break the public trust and harm the community.
• An immediate end to the drug war including the legalization of Marijuana at the federal level.
• An immediate end to the dependence on fossil fuels and funding for alternative and sustainable energies.
• Increased financial regulations.
• An end to international trade deals which harm the working class.
Many politicians claim to be for these policies, however, due to their corporate backing they settle for less or abandon these values altogether in order to stay in the good graces of their donors. In these troubling times, we need extraordinary leadership in our government, not business as usual. We have an opportunity to lead the nation in progressive policies.
