31st Laguna Art Show in August 2025 to be held at Laguna Hall August 15-17, 2025
Special note:
Each artist is invited to submit a maximum of 4 pieces, each no wider than 120cm max.
Our exhibition will reach capacity at around or below 250 artworks, depending on the number of larger works and other factors including the number of sculptural/3d pieces . We will close entries once we reach capacity and after this time, we will no longer be able to accept submissions. The Art Show committee reserve the right to close entries early should we reach capacity prior to the closing date. Don’t leave it until the last minute to enter!
Entry Forms
- Please submit the entry form at your earliest convenience by Thursday 17 July 2025 if you intend to exhibit (see note above).
- Entries will only be accepted with all details included.
- Each entry must be the original work of the artist and must not have been previously exhibited at the Laguna Art Show. All Artwork must be for sale
- Please note that the entry fee of $25 is a flat fee and you may submit up to 4 pieces in the show (this fee is NOT per piece, $25 covers your entire entry) . The funds will be allocated to the purchase of equipment, experiences or education tools to foster and enrich the education of our 'Little Faces' at Laguna Public School. Please note that: Your entry will not be processed unless the entry fee has been paid and receipt number recorded on the entry form
Commission
- A commission of 30% will be deducted from all artworks sold.
- Selling Artists will be paid by direct deposit by the end of September; PLEASE COMPLETE BANK ACCOUNT INFORMATION. FAILURE TO COMPLETE THE INFORMATION CORRECTLY WILL LEAD TO A DELAY IN PAYMENT.
- The Art Show committee accepts artworks as donations for which Laguna P&C gratefully receive 100% of the sale price. No entry fee is required for donated works.
Emerging Artist Award
- This year we are pleased to announce the The Ken Maurer Emerging Artist Award which is a $500 cash prize and is awarded to an artist who is in the first ten years of their career as an artist. The winner is chosen by committee and no correspondence will be entered into regarding the result.
Delivery of Artwork
- Delivery of artwork is to Laguna Hall on Saturday 9th August from 10am to 4pm and Monday 11th August from 2-4pm.
- No artwork will be accepted after Monday 11th August at 4 pm
- No wet artworks will be accepted.
Framing and Presentation
- For the safety of your artwork, all 2D artworks should be properly strung and ready to hang. It is in your best interest to ensure the proper and safe stringing of your work. All 3D artworks should be delivered with a plinth for display.
Insurance / Care and Responsibility
- Insurance of artworks is the sole responsibility of the artist. All care is taken in terms of secure and safe storage and handling, but the Laguna P&C Association will not be responsible for any loss, theft or damage to any artwork. Artists should consider their own insurance. By entering your artwork for sale and exhibition you agree to this condition.
Display of Artworks
- Any artwork may be excluded from display at the sole discretion of the Art Show committee, without prior notification to the artist.
- The manner in which artworks are displayed is entirely at the discretion of the Art Show Committee.
Social Media and Promotion
- Only business pages promoting artists and their work will be promoted and tagged in social media posts. No promotion of other businesses including but not limited to retail stores or galleries will be tagged. We reserve the right to crop the images provided to ensure appropriate presentation on the Laguna Art Show page.
- Promotion will occur via our email database, social media channels and website.
Collection of Unsold Art
- All unsold art work must be collected from Laguna Hall - Sunday 17th August from 2:00pm – 4pm or Monday morning 18th August from 9am -12pm. We do not have the facility to store any artworks after this time.
- No responsibility can be taken for any artwork not collected by this time.
- Uncollected works will attract a holding fee of $5.00 per item per day until collected.
- In the interests of artwork care and preservation (yours and others) you will be assisted by our team of helpful volunteers in the removal of your unsold work. Please do not remove it yourself.
