Submittal Requirements Checklist

January 5, 2022

1. General Information:    Show existing and proposed structures and specify their uses. Include fences,    stairs, pools, walkways, and bulkheads.

2. Plot/Site Plan:   Show dimension to front, rear, side street to proposed structure. Show distance to street centerline. Show location(s) of any and all other structures on the parcel. Show drainage arrows for new homes.

3. Architectural Plan:   Floor Plan, Roof Plans, Elevations, Section, Other Details   For new house or additions and uses of all rooms, Windows, Doors, Siding Material, to existing house) Roof Material.

4. Structural Plans (if applicable):   Foundation Plans, show size, spacing, species and grade of all framing.

5. New Bulkheads:  Bulkheads are permitted through CAMA. Show proposed bulkhead location on survey. Include height and material of bulkhead. If tying onto neighboring bulkheads, describe height and materials of new and existing bulkheads.

6. New pools:   Pools are permitted by the Town of Holden Beach given type of dwelling structure and dune / marsh configuration . Show pool layout on survey in relation to house. Show location of pool equipment. Show location of bulkheads. Show fencing type and height. Show pool screening or landscaping.  Show pool deck and material used for decking. Show hot tub location (if applicable).

7. Neighbor Courtesy:  For all new construction or exterior alteration to an existing structure, provide a letter from each adjacent homeowner indicating you have shared your building plans and they have no objection to the project.
