Why organize Men for Harris?

Millions of us are thrilled to support Kamala Harris as the most qualified candidate. Men are exhausted by Trump and his same old show of divisiveness and disrespect. As men, we stand up for people who need help because it’s the right thing to do. We look out for one another. These are acts of strength. Being strong means calling out MAGA’s overt racism and misogyny for what it is: a desperate and tired attempt to divide us so that Donald Trump can regain power and implement Project 2025.  

Donald Trump represents the past. In recent decades, millions of men have become fully engaged as full-time parents and equal partners to everyone in their families, communities, and workplaces. Millions of men step up daily as fathers to teach their kids the difference between right and wrong and how to respect one another. We’re not going back.

Is Men for Harris part of the Harris campaign?

No. Men for Harris is a voluntary, grassroots-led effort and is not affiliated with the campaign.

Inspired by the early mass mobilization and example set by Black Women for Harris, Men for Harris is one of many efforts that have sprung up to create opportunities for people to come together, fundraise, volunteer, have fun, and help elect Kamala Harris.

What is Men for Harris doing between now and Election Day?

1. Recruiting campaign volunteers: Men for Harris has an expanding network of local MFH Leaders who are mobilizing and planning events and parties with their buddies to organize, hold virtual phone and text banks, and go canvass. You don’t have to live in a battleground state to make a huge difference. The campaign has thousands and thousands of volunteer shifts (many can be done from a laptop!) that need filling each week.  

2. Grassroots fundraising: fundraising parties, Men for Harris challenges, and more.  

3. Getting our message out: We’re highlighting to our families, friends, and peers why millions of men are supporting Kamala Harris, sharing resources to get men involved, and challenging the MAGA-fueled toxic stereotypes about men (which the media too often mirrors in its coverage).

I’ve never been involved in a campaign or politics before – does that matter?  

That’s ok!! Many of us are new to this. But we know this moment requires us to step up. No experience is required and we provide regular trainings, resources, and toolkits for Men for Harris leaders.  

Who is behind this group?

We are a group of grassroots volunteers and supporters – just like you! – who want to do our part to elect Kamala Harris. We continue to hear from men all over the country who want to get involved and we’re growing our ranks daily. Bring your ideas for how we can get more men involved!

I’m already part of another affinity group for Kamala Harris (e.g., Black Men for Harris, Latino Men for Harris, Dads for Harris, White Dudes for Harris, Cat Ladies for Harris, etc.). Can I join Men for Harris?

Yes! Men of all backgrounds and any allies who wish to get involved are welcome to join. Many of our members are also involved in other affinity groups that are organizing to help elect Kamala Harris (hey friends! We see you!)

We are all working toward the same goal: helping to elect Kamala Harris as the next President of the United States.

We do not collect any money. The Men for Harris donation link is a secure Act Blue link that goes straight to Harris for President. 

Is anyone welcome to join Men for Harris?

Yes! All are welcome – men of all backgrounds as well as allies who want to support this effort.

Are we going to have fun?

SO. MUCH. FUN. But please don’t tell MAGA. That drives them absolutely nuts.
