Miss Honey
Do you really think Matilda should be moved up to the year 7s? Why?
Yes. I do believe Matilda should be moved up to the 11 year olds. Reason being she has answered many questions and done many tasks that show that she is a very gifted student.
Do you think Miss Trunchbull is being fair?
I think it is fair to say the students should stay in their own year group but I think the rule of ‘regardless of ability’ is unfair to our students that are really special and talented.
Are you afraid to talk to Miss Trunchbull?
Usually I am very afraid to speak to Miss Trunchbull but knowing that Matilda is so gifted I wasn’t afraid to speak to her today.
What makes you different from Miss Trunchbull?
I think that I’m different from Miss Trunchbull because I care more for the children.
How smart do you think Matilda is?
I think Matilda is very smart and gifted. She’s a very intelligent child. Much above her age level.
Is Matilda your favourite student?
I’m not sure.
What year level do you teach?
I teach 6 years olds, this means year 1.
What was the poem type that Matilda read to you?
Matilda first read me a poem that was in the style of a limerick.
