       2025 AP Exam Registration & Testing Information

AP Exam registration for students taking AP courses begins Tuesday, October 1, 2024 and ends on Thursday, October 31, 2024 at 11:59 PM. To register & submit AP exam payment, students must click on the link provided on the school website or visit www.TotalRegistration.net/AP/181444. If the student chooses to opt-out from taking an exam, the student will need to log in to the College Board website and change their order status to “No”.

To complete AP exam registration & payment, all required questions must be answered. Please provide an email address that you will check as you will receive important information regarding AP exams via email. Print or save a copy of the PDF confirmation page for your records once registration and payment are complete.

AP Exams are $38.00 per exam, which includes a 4% processing fee. Payments can be made by credit card, check, or money order. Payments will be made directly to Total Registration—no payments will be made to or collected at Tates Creek High School. For students who qualify for free or reduced lunch fees and services, exams are FREE. See below for deadlines and fines.

~Late fines are Non-refundable.

*AP exam Late Registration dates are November 16, 2024 - March 7, 2025 with a $50 late fine per AP exam

**Free or Reduced fees and services students that cancel exams are responsible for paying $40 late fine

***If you have not completed the District Lunch form, Please complete the FCPS Nutrition Application at https://www.myschoolapps.com/Application to update eligibility status before completing AP fee registration.

****If you would like to request state testing accommodations, please contact Mrs.Davis. The deadline to initiate an application for state testing accommodations with the College Board is Friday, January 24, 2025

Overview of Registration Process Steps:

Step 1:

1. Go to link: www.TotalRegistration.net/AP/181444 

2. If you have registered for an AP exam in the past, please use the same email address.

3. Complete all sections/questions on the registration form.

4. Carefully check exams and teachers for which you have registered (exam names and schedule are on the back of this letter.)

5. Complete payment online with Total Registration.

6. Print payment confirmation page for your records. Registration is complete when you are able to print a confirmation page.

Step 2:

You may have already completed this step in class, but please log back in to check you have registered for the exam(s).

1. Log in to myap.collegeboard.org using your College Board login information. If you have previously created a College Board account and cannot login to My AP, please use the forgot username/password links to reset your account. If you have trouble logging in to My AP, please call the College Board at 866-315-6068.

2. You will see a REGISTER button in your class section view in My AP after you join your class sections. Clicking this button will let your coordinator know that you plan to take the exam and will order it for you.

3. From the pop-up window, select either CONFIRM REGISTRATION (if you are taking the exam) or NO, I WISH TO REMOVE MYSELF FROM TAKING THIS EXAM.

4. Once you have selected to register, the date and time of your exam will appear in your class section view in My AP.

*** AP Coordinator does not have access to students' personal information.

Students must remember the email address and password used to create the original College Board account.  Email address and password will be used later to register for future AP, ACT, PSAT, and SAT exam registration.
