Nebraska FBLA has put together a package to meet the needs of chapters in our state. This was done after requests from advisers to organize travel and keep the costs equitable amongst all participants. Airfare was reserved for our attendees months in advance to ensure we had the number of seats necessary to accommodate all chapters. We recognize that some situations might need flexibility. Changes could result in additional costs to Nebraska FBLA, affecting the cost of the entire package. To keep costs down for all participants, we will follow this procedure on change requests.
Hotel/Touring/Ground Transportation
The national office assigns the hotel. There will be no changes or discounts regarding hotel or transportation. Attendees will pay this cost as outlined in the travel package regardless of arrival and departure date and times. Flights that are outside of the travel package will need to secure their own ground transportation. There will be no refunds for these items as we have already secured both hotel rooms and charter buses for ground transportation.
Air Travel
If you need accommodations for airfare, you will need to request it via the Google form below. The travel team will review these requests. If approved, we will make any necessary arrangements for you through our flight provider. We will do our best to accommodate; however, you will be responsible for all increases in the fare and any cancellation fees associated with the flights we currently have booked. We currently have 407 seats reserved with flights leaving from Omaha and Denver. All flights held are ROUND TRIP tickets. One-way tickets must be booked outside of the block and do not count toward the number we must use from the block. There is a $100 fee per ticket if we drop below the required number. If we incur that fee, it will be passed on to chapters for any flight changes.
