October 7th Balance Patch
The Story of 2020
Alexstraza
Developer Comment: It’s been some time since we looked at Alexstrasza’s talents, so we’re buffing some of her underused picks to make them more viable.
Level 1 - Circle of Life [W]
Level 7 - Verdant Flourish [W]
Level 10 - Life-Binder [R1]
Level 16 - Tough Love [Q]
Level 16 - Overprotective [W]
Ana
Developer Comment: Ana’s currently a top healer pick with relatively poor diversity in her early game talents. We’re nerfing some of her most picked talents and reducing the duration of Biotic Grenade, which should give other Healers more of an ability to play around it when trying to keep their teammates alive.
Biotic Grenade [W]
Level 1 - Slumber Shells [E]
Level 7 - Anti-Healer [W]
Level 7 -Night Terrors [E]
Anduin
Developer Comment: Anduin is in a good place overall, with great talent diversity and a fun base kit. However, he isn’t quite measuring up to other Healers when it comes to his overall performance, so we’re simply increasing his power to bring him up to par.
Flash Heal [Q]
Chastise [E]
Leap of Faith [Trait]
Level 10 - Holy Word: Salvation [R1]
Uther
Developer Comment: We’re giving Guardian of Ancient Kings a needed buff and adding a better tuning knob to balance the talent in the future by unlinking the duration of its Armor bonus from Devotion.
Level 4 - Holy Fire [Passive]
Level 7 - Guardian of Ancient Kings [Trait]

Any thoughts on Gladiator's Medallion?
What about tower changes as a healer? All Anomalies?

Questions from the Community
Coordinated Play Questions
Krushinator
You call yourselves the Careless Badgers, but I have witnessed first hand that you do care, even going so far as to practice before matches! Suspicious. For my question, what do you think of Stukov's level 13 root/silence talent? Is it central enough to Stukov's kit to consider making some version of it a baseline ability?
Zatoichi
Kiye: you’ve played at many different ranks and team sizes(duo, 3stacks, etc) how do these things effect which healer you pick?
Roles/Heroes
Ogbar
We spent a year listening to complaints about the stale tank meta, but the healer meta seems to be the other extreme with nerfs and buffs causing a constant flavor of the patch scenario. Is it an issue? What makes healers so hard to balance that blizz is constantly playing whack-a-mole with them?
Valkamer
Kiye: What is the most annoying thing that your tank does that you wish you could change?
(Probably best if Garrett asks that one)
Daxx
1. You two frequently discuss Old, Dusty, Stale heroes. Any healers Kiye feels are ripe for a retool/rework.4
2. What hero would she like to see added to the Support role, what would their kit look like
Pikeboo
As a bruiser player I am curious about getting into supporting. Where should I start and how do I know if I do a decent job or if I improve ?
Do the ingame stats help here?
Gib
Loaded Q: do you consider yourself an ambassador for the game - well, not so much the game itself, but the community around the game?
