Teachers: Very well done. As you know understand that everything has been divided into types so how can our words- our very words, can be left behind. Yes, our words are divided into nine parts; collectively they are called parts of speech. So, today we will learn about the parts of speech: nouns, pronouns, adjectives, verbs, adverbs, prepositions, conjunctions, interjections and articles. Let’s learn how they are different from one another and also to use them correctly.

So, students, today we have learned about different parts of speech used in the English language: they are nouns, pronouns, verbs, adverbs, adjectives, prepositions, interjections, conjunctions, and articles. Nouns are names. Pronouns are replacements for nouns. Verbs are action words. Adverbs add to the meaning of verbs. Adjectives are qualifying words. Prepositions are time, place, and situational indicators. Conjunctions are connectors. Interjections are excitement and shock indicators. In articles, a and n are indefinites, and the is a definite article. A and a mean one, and the latter defines special, definite, and unique things.
