Annual Horse Show

Come and join the fun by entering Pegasus TRA’s Annual Horse Show! All currently enrolled riders are welcome. We are excited to show improvements with our riders and families.

Show begins at 10:00 AM

All  equitation classes held in the indoor arena are FREE! 

All riders can participate in the trail class located in our outdoor arena for a $10 minimum donation. All riders will receive a ribbon along with a variety of other prizes up for grab, please read the trail class description for more details.

Trail

Open to all current Pegasus TRA riders

Horse and rider navigate a series of obstacles. Riders will compete one at a time in the arena. All riders will receive participation ribbons.

Indoor Arena Classes - Set Time

Level 1

Forward Sit Only

Judges will be looking at balance, position and posture based on the rider's ability. The riders may have assistance by sidewalkers.

Level 2

Beginner Reining Class - Walk

Judges will be looking at balance, position and posture at the walk with assistance

Level 3

Reining Class – walk only, with assistance

Judges will be looking at the rider’s ability to steer their horse through a series of obstacles. The riders may be assisted by side walkers to use their reins. Riders must have a handler.

Level 4

Reining Class – walk only

Judges will be looking at the rider's ability to steer their horse through a series of obstacles.  Riders may have a handler but must be in control of their horse.

Level 5

Reining Class – with trot

Judges will be looking at the rider's ability to steer their horse through a series of obstacles.  Riders may have a handler but must be in control of their horse. Riders will also be asked to perform a jumping position at a walk and either a sitting or posting trot.

Level 6

Under Saddle - Walk/Trot, assisted

Under saddle, riders will be asked to perform a series of tasks to test their balance, seat position and control of the horse.  Riders may have one aid.

Level 7

Under Saddle - Walk/Trot, unassisted

Under saddle, riders will be asked to perform a series of tasks to test their balance, seat position and control of the horse.  Riders may not have side walkers or handler.

Level 8

Under Saddle - Walk/Trot/Canter

Under saddle, riders will be asked to perform a series of tasks to test their balance, seat position and control of the horse. Riders may not have side walkers or handler.
