Executive Director Update:  Valerie gave her report on the status of the badge access project. Has been promised that install will be complete by the end of the month (5/31). Ready to bring on more help for the summer months to allow for scheduled travel and outreach. EJ is graduating MCAD this week and may be available to cover more hours. Also discussing additional training hours with Marcos from the U of M. Valerie had a successful meeting with the MN Urban Debate League regarding their upcoming livestream event, contract being worked on now. Continuing to apply for grants, but nothing coming in yet. As previously discussed, may be difficult to secure on first asks. Hosted another Art Tech in April with good turnout and great feedback from attendees and artists/vendors. All involved expressed a desire to use the space this way more and continue to build on this event. Next community event is Art-a-Whirl, with 20 artists scheduled to be in the space/exhibiting over the weekend. Should be better turn out this year due to more registered artists in the building and MTN’s inclusion in the NEMAA directory. Held a closed session regarding incident on 5-11-2019 and corresponding police report and lawyer meetings.

Public commentary: Public discussion around the Ambassador program and how things are going from the Ambassador’s perspectives. Those involved and in attendance are happy with the way the program is progressing and feel satisfied with MTN’s ability to engage them in work and experience in media production.

Board Meeting Adjourned: 7:10pm
