Families:

Our year is off to a great start, and we are already learning a lot of amazing things. Here are some highlights:

Math- place value, adding and subtracting, rounding

Reading- character traits, proving answers with text evidence, genres

Writing- Letters, Capitalization, Character paragraphs

Social Studies- Timelines, fact and opinion, primary and secondary sources

Science- Scientific Method, weathering and erosion

Upcoming Events

Twin Oak Fit-a-thon will take place on Friday, October 1st.

Return money and pledge forms then.
Be sure to have your student dress for activity AND bring a water bottle.
Thanks to PTO and all families for your support!

No School Friday October 15- Teacher professional Day.
Cogat testing will take place between October 25-November 5 for 4th graders.

Please be sure to have your students well-fed, well-rested, and to school on-time so they can be in their best form.

YES Concert- Ballet Met- for 4th grade, Tuesday 10/19

This is free, and we will return in time for regular lunch time.

Parent Portal

Please be sure that you have completed the online emergency form for your student. In order to go on field trips or contact you, we need this important information. If you have any questions, you can contact the office for help.

Class Dojo

If you have not yet joined our Class Dojo, you are really missing out! We have a class story with pictures from our days at school. I can also message you in this app. Your student has an avatar monster and earns points for doing great work at school. Good Behavior Game

We are working together as a class to “Keep it PAX” and not “SPLEEM”. Talk to your student about our amazing teamwork and how we strive each day to improve our work and school family. Thanks to all students for working together!
