Classic-Items still good in TBC
Roughly sorted by usefulness and only interesting items. Obviously a Naxx-Weapon is better than a MC-Weapon. This is not a max-profit list for selling stuff but actual use in raidgame.
- Useful even in endgame
- Mark of the Champion (+demon-dmg is BiS in BT, SW etc. most of the mobs in TBC are demons)
- Wolfshead Helm (cats do still powershift and replace this item very late)
- Warlock’s Atiesh (with the best grp-aura WLs still use this until end BT)
- Arcanite Fishing Pole (still the best pole in tbc)
- Good until the midgame
- Warrior’s TF (was nerfed in aggro but should be still good for tanking multiple mobs in P1)
- Sapphiron’s Shouldenchants (still very good for certain classes/specs)
- Badge of the Swarmguard (could be good depending on the way tbc armor values will work)
- Styleen’s Impeding Scarab (becomes a good deff-trinket)
- Darkmoon Card: Blue Dragon (still a good mana-reg trinket for druids & priests but probably just not necessary)
- Naxxrama’s epic frost resistance gear (still nice for Hydross)
- Petrified Scarab (might still be useful for the 2 resi-fights)
- Crusader-Enchant (good for quite some time)
- +2% threat enchant (still very good for tanking, has a cheaper TBC variant though)
- ZG-Set-Trinkets (might still be interesting due their %-working or special effects)
- Nice to have pre-raid
- Finkle’s Skinner / Zulian Slicer / Herbalists Glove (still the best +gather items)
- Rune of Metamorphosis (was nerfed but shifting is more expensive and together with t4 bonus a mana-gain-trinket)
- Scarab Brooch (nice through the %-effect but will still be replaced early)
- Ironfoe & HoJ (the way stronger weapons profit a little bit more of the extra-attacks)
- Ravager (might be a good AoE-Weapon if it can work around the 10 target limitation)
- BWL-Trinkets like DFT, Black Book, MQG, Tear, Reju and Alignment are still good for some time
- Eye of the Dead (still good pre raid for healers)
- Tier 3 items are still very good, especially since you usually don’t need their bonuses
- Darkmoon Card: Twisting Nether (still as good/bad as before)
- Demon Forged Breastplate & Skullflame Shield (good for Pala AoE farming)
- Shaman T2 8-piece (could work for Arena pregame buffing)
- Boots of Discplacement/Darkmantle Boots (still max +stealth items)
- ZG-Enchants (until you got access to TBC variants)
- Consumables - mostly for non-raid purposes
- Elemental Sharpening Stones (have more crit than the tbc-variant and cheaper)
- Swiftness Potions (still swift)
- Free Action Potions (still imba)
- Restoration Potions (still enough to dispel while leveling, not for raids)
- Invisibility Potions (cause invis)
- Mighty Rage Potions (cause warris bad tanks like classic)
- Thistle Tea (cause no RedBull yet)
- Elixir of Demonslaying (Demons everywhere !)
- Flasks of Titans (nerfed but ok)
- Flasks of Supreme Power (cheaper and still ok)
- Flasks of Distilled Wisdom (for stat bitches)
- Flasks of Petrification (still handy in some situations)
- Darkrunes/Demonrunes (still used by manaclasses)
- Rep-Bots (tbc variant is better but still useful)
- Engi-Stuff (like cables, parachute cloak, stun-stuff etc)
- Brilliant Oils (still oily)
- Crafting Materials (for continues use for raiding)
- Black Lotus
- Large Brilliant Shards
- Righteous Orbs
