This process involves the following key steps:

Identifying Environmental Aspects: DEC has identified and assessed its significant environmental aspects, those that have a direct or indirect impact on the environment. This includes aspects such as energy consumption, waste generation, and resource usage.

Setting Environmental Objectives and Targets: Based on the identified environmental aspects, DEC has set ambitious yet achievable environmental objectives and targets. These objectives and targets provide clear direction for improvement and act as a measure of DEC's environmental performance.

Developing Environmental Management Procedures: DEC has developed a set of detailed environmental management procedures that outline the specific steps and responsibilities for achieving its environmental objectives and targets. These procedures ensure consistency and accountability in environmental management practices.
