How to Connect Your Chromebook to WiFi
- When you turn on your Chromebook for the first time, or when you turn it on in a new location, you will see a pop-up box appear with the title “Network not available.” Select your home wireless network or the wireless network for your location.
- Enter the password for the wireless network. Click on the “eye” if you want to see the password to check for correctness.
- You will be prompted to sign into the Chromebook with your McCann Google account. Enter your username.
- Enter your password for your McCann Google account. Click on “Show password” if you want to see your password and check it for correctness.
- Once you are logged in, you have the ability to change your wireless settings by clicking the menu button in the lower right corner.
- You can turn the wireless network on or off by clicking on the blue, round wireless icon.
- You can access other wireless networks by clicking on the pull-down menu arrow below the wireless icon.
- A list of available wireless access points will open. Click on the network of your choice and enter the password.
