Dear Parents,

The International Luncheon was amazing. We really appreciate the cultural dishes that were sent in for our potluck. Everyone enjoyed the variety of food.

Please be sure to check the Trinity calendar for the many events that lie ahead.

Open House - Tuesday, March 13 @ 7:00 pm

Please make plans to visit your child’s class and see some of the work and projects they’ve been doing throughout the year. You may also visit other classrooms and talk to our wonderful teachers and staff. Just a reminder that this day is a Minimum Day. School will be dismissed at 12 PM, daycare is available. This is a good opportunity to invite family, friends, neighbors, and people from your church to see what God is doing at

our school.

Chick-fil-A Lunch:  Hot lunch on Friday, March 16th. If you wish your child to participate, please complete the hot lunch envelope slip and return to school by Tuesday, March 13th (cash only and exact change). ATTENTION: Chick-fil-A uses peanut oil.

ACSI Speech Meet - Wednesday, March 21 - St. Peter’s Lutheran School, Elk Grove

Congratulations to Natalie Ferrari, Grace Johnson and Angel Justin who will be representing our 7th grade at the Speech Meet this year.

End of Quarter 3 - Friday, March 23

Report cards will be emailed home the following week.

TCS Easter Concert  and Chicken Pasta Dinner - Tuesday, March 27- Sanctuary

Put this date on your calendar! You do not want to miss this year’s Easter concert. The children have been working very hard to learn their pieces.

*The Pasta Dinner Fundraiser will start at 8:20 pm.  Please send in your $ for your tickets to the office for a fun evening if you would like to attend.


Middle School Teachers


Bible (Mr. Ortiz):

This week we will finish our lesson on Isaiah and start our next lesson on Jeremiah. This week there will be a scripture quiz on Isaiah 53:5-6.

English (Mrs. Johnson):

Students will take the spelling quarter exam on Thursday. In grammar, we will study adjectives and take a quiz on Friday. In Literature, we will focus on theme within a short story.

Math Course 2 (Mrs.Northman):

Students will complete Lessons 85, 86 and activity 16 this week.  There will be a test on

Thursday.  *We will also be celebrating “Pi Day” on Wednesday, March 14th.   to share with In math, Pi is a mathematical term that is estimated as 3.14.  Students may bring in foods that are circle/round the class during math class and/or at lunch.  Some ideas may include: donuts, cookies, slices of orange (circles), pie, pizza, cucumber slices, round crackers or chips, etc.  We will still have a regular lesson this day, but will enjoy the treats as we study!                                        

Math 7/6 (Mrs. Johnson):

Students will complete Lesson 90 on Monday and take a test on Tuesday. We will then complete an investigation on Wednesday and Lessons 92 and 93 on Thursday and Friday.

Social Studies (Mrs. Daniel):

Students began Chapter 15, “Colonial Africa,” on Friday.  We will continue studying Africa this week with the test next week.  Students will also complete a map of modern Africa by the chapter test.

Science: (Mrs. Northman)

This week we will be learning about the Circulatory System.

Music: (Dr. Muntean)

Students are making final preparations for Easter Concert.
