Short Term NTI Plan

In the case we have inclement weather, we plan to continue on with Non Traditional Instruction (NTI) as much as possible. With advance notice, we plan to send students home with a device and next steps on work. Teachers and staff will be available to support students via the Google Meet or email. Thanks for your support!

What is short-term NTI?

Short Term NTI is asynchronous (self paced, non-live) instruction provided by the school, accompanied by teacher and/or admin office hours for live support.

What will the work look like?

Short Term NTI will be a mix of grade level work via packets/workbooks and/or digital work. A packet of resources will be sent home to be used as needed with students. Teachers will communicate assignments, schedules, expectations, etc. on the morning of the NTI day in Google Classroom. Office hours are optional for students.

Where do students log in?

Google Classroom. Students can log in to Google Classroom through Clever or they might have it saved on their JCPS device. Below are some helpful links:

What are students expected to do?

Students are expected to complete their assignments announced by their teacher within 24 hours. If an assignment is part of a paper packet, it will be returned to the teacher upon their return to Bloom.
