January 7, 2026: ELL Workday

This interactive professional-learning workshop is designed to support educators in strengthening instructional practices while aligning teaching to academic standards and English language proficiency expectations. Participants will explore effective, research-based strategies that support all learners—especially multilingual students—in accessing rigorous content. A key component of the workshop includes hands-on exploration of ELPA21 review and testing modules to deepen educators’ understanding of language proficiency demands and assessment alignment. Sara Calvert, ESU 15 Title III Programs Director, will be the facilitator for the day. This workshop will begin at 9:00 a.m. and conclude at noon. January 27, 2026: ESUs 9, 10 and 11 CTE Collaboration Day

ESUs 9, 10 and 11 will partner to conduct a Career Field Collaboration Day.  During the course of this day, CTE teachers will have the opportunity to discuss best practices and new ideas regarding state model programs of study, career readiness standards, technology integration, reading and math in the CTE classroom, student personal learning plans, and special populations.  There will also be time devoted for teachers to share strategy examples from their classrooms.  This workshop will be held at ESU 10 in Kearney and begin at 9:00 a.m. and conclude at 3:00 p.m.

February 11, 2026: 6-12 Science PLC Follow-up

Sarah Shaffer from NDE will return with more updates including information on the new teacher guides for science. She will also share real-world lesson examples that align with current best practices. The goal will be to support high-quality science instruction. Teachers will also have an opportunity to collaborate and share ideas. March 27, 2026:    Continuous Improvement Profile Workday
