I have a solution to your vague constructed Brawl instructions woes!
Instead of taking time to build a deck, the first time you play, in the deck builder just click done to auto-build a deck. Play three or four rounds to get the hang of the rules, THEN build quick (or finish the match if you like) and take the time to build a proper deck.
Voila.
