Staff are reminded of the Benefit for Joel Holte (son-in-law of Jean Ament) on Saturday, January 20th at the Ashby American Legion Post beginning at 5:30 p.m.  There is an envelope in the office for donations through today.

Homecoming pins are available for $1.00.  You can purchase one from Judy or Mrs. Rasmussen.

Schedule for today:  Final exams 2nd, 4th, 6th and 7th hours.  3rd hour is Ramp-Up Activity (9th - 12th grade only)  9th grade report to Ms. Polman’s room, 10th grade report to Mrs. Dissmore’s room, 11th grade to Mr. Geiser’s room and 12th grade to Mr. Heino’s room.

Junior High should report to their regular class.

Todd-Wadena Electric Cooperative is offering any eligible sophomore or junior a chance to compete to travel, all expense-paid to Washington D.C., with 40 other MN teens, June 9-14, 2018. You must fill out an application and submit a one-page, typed essay explaining why you would like to participate in the trip.One local student will be selected.  Deadline is February 28, 2018. Minnesota State Community and Technical College is offering a Workforce Development $2,500 scholarship. Students must complete M State application and the FAFSA by February 14, 2018. Scholarship applications are due February 28, 2018. For more information, please see Mr. Roberts.

In Tuesday's junior high Knowledge Bowl meet the Sebeka Plate team and the Sebeka Gold had the highest written round scores in the entire 36 team field.  The three Sebeka teams competed in three different 12 team divisions.  The Gold team tied for first in  its group.  The Purple team placed second in its group while the Plate team was fourth in its division.  Members of the winning Gold team were Madison Jarvi, TJ Jasicki, Eion Ness, Torrey Carlson, Gavin Kiser, and Mallory Ritari.

Jr. High Knowledge Bowl will have practice today during Jr. High lunch.
