6th September 1923.

Harry Wallis Esq.

The French gallery,

120 Pall Mall,

London, S.W.1.

Dear Sir,

Mr. de Laszlo wishes me to send you the enclosed cheque for £146. 1. 5 in payment of your account, and shall be glad to have your receipt for same.

He is sorry to say that he has not as yet heard anything about the glass which has to be replaced on the portrait of Baroness de Baeyens [2825], but he trusts that you will see that this matter is settled as soon as possible.

He will send for the awning on Monday, and will be obliged if you will hand also to his messenger the negatives of the four photographs which were taken of his exhibition.[1]

He is much obliged for your letter of August 31st.[2]

Yours faithfully,

Secretary.
