Tax Information

The filing of Federal Taxes for the 2013 year  is due by April 15th, 2014.

Tax information for non-resident aliens (NRA). Need information about tax preparation, or resources and software for preparing taxes? For more information about taxes, click here. Two Ongoing Surveys Requesting Postdoc Input

1) AAAS survey on the career support needed for S.T.E.M. professionals to meet their goals. More details here; survey here.

2) Welch Medical Library survey concerning its online Bioinformatics Portal (provides multiple resources in genomics, transcriptomics, proteomics, epigenomics, metabolomics, and pharmacogenomics). 4/02 deadline; survey here.

The newly established Postdoctoral Research Presentation Club is looking for members and speakers! Monthly events consist of 3 presentations per session. Practice a research talk and receive friendly feedback from an audience of postdoctoral fellows and graduate students. Native English speakers and ESL speakers alike are encouraged to attend and present.

When: 2nd Wednesday of each month, 12-1pm

Consisting of: 1) A plenary for all K candidates, covering parts of the application and common problems; 2) Breakout groups specifically for K99/R00 and other types of Ks; followed by 3) Small group critiques of your own and your peers’ Specific Aims. Register here.
