  • A preliminary elimination round will be conducted in a written format after which four teams with the highest score will proceed into the semi-final round.
  • There will be two semi-final rounds of three games each. In each round, two of the selected teams will play against each other.
  • The winning teams of the semi-final rounds will then play against each other in the final round.
  • The final round will comprise five games and the teams that win three games first will be the winner.
  • Special prize will be given to the school students for excellence in the elimination round.

THE GAME

The game is played on a board with contiguous hexagons, each bearing a letter.

The participants have to move across the board either vertically from white to white, or horizontally from blue to blue.  It is only when one of the teams makes a complete connection between the two sides that the round is over.

There is no fixed route that needs to be taken across or down the board.  However the shortest route will be the quickest road to victory.

In each round the first question that is asked is for getting control of the board.  The team that answers the first question gets to select the colour they want to play with.

All questions are directed to both the teams and the team that presses the buzzer first getsthe chance to answer.  Correct answer changes the colour of the hexagon bearing the letter to the colour of the answering team.

If the team that presses the buzzer first cannot answer correctly within 5 seconds, the opposing team gets a chance to answer.  Correct answer changes the block to their team colour and wins them a chance to select the next letter.
