Student Council hosted an outrageously fun Spirit Assembly Friday. Their next event will be a dance for 6th-8th grade students this coming Friday, September 9th from 6-8:00 p.m. Permission Slips will be passed out to eligible students in class.
This week our TK and K students will begin their full day program. Our staff will be on hand to assist in the pick up circle. For the speediest possible outcome, we ask that parents who pick students up after school utilize the window placard included in the attachments and remain in their vehicles. We ask for your patience and cooperation at pick up time.
We apologize for the delay at the p.m. car pick up Friday. Our lock was bent and had to be cut to open the gate.
Reminder, there is no campus supervision before 7:30 or after 2:45. Please do not leave children unattended at school. Discovery Club is a terrific on campus option for working parents. Please contact them at email@example.com to sign up!
Hello Newcastle families,
Most families are familiar with the immunization requirements for kindergarten but did you know there are also requirements for 7th grade? 7th graders are required to have a Tdap booster (given on or after their 7th birthday) as well as documentation of 2 MMR doses (given on or after their 1st birthday - these are generally in the kindergarten vaccines). For those students in 7th grade, documentation of this immunization is required in the office as mandated by state law. For those families with younger students, once your child has had their Tdap booster (given on or after their 7th birthday) please bring a copy to the office so they will be all set for the 7th grade requirement. For any questions, please feel free to email me at firstname.lastname@example.org
Are you a grandparent or parent who would like to help our Newcastle School students as a Sight Word Buster volunteer? We are currently looking for volunteers to help our K-3 students with a program that helps students master sight words at their grade level. See flyer or contact our office.
