Week of September 8, 2017

iBienvenidos! a la clase de español 2017 - 2018! We are excited to welcome our Exploradores to another successful year in FLES. Our main purpose this year is to prepare students to begin developing functional skills in listening, speaking and reading to get them ready for writing. We provide a nurturing environment that invites our students to feel comfortable learning Spanish. Students progress in their oral and written performance through interdisciplinary activities with the content areas.

During the month of September, students will be learning about classroom routines, behavior expectations and focusing on Cooperation in C.A.R.E.S ( Cooperation, Assertion, Responsibility, Empathy and Self Control). Students will become familiar with the classroom environment and its care. Also they will learn the expectations for their academic work.

Our program is divided into different skill levels for PK - 2 and 3 - 5. In each level, individual abilities are considered so that the students progress under their personalized learning.

Thanks in advance for your support at home. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us by email or phone.

Looking forward to an exciting year with your children!

Gracias
