Call for Applications: 2025 BIGG Travel Fellowships for Advanced Students and Early Career Researchers

The Black in Gerontology and Geriatrics (BIGG) Network, with crowdsourced support from our community and well-wishers, is pleased to announce the 2025 Travel Fellowships for graduate students and early career researchers to attend the Annual Gerontological Society of America (GSA) Conference, taking place November 12–15, 2025, in Boston, Massachusetts.
These awards aim to support emerging scholars committed to advancing research, teaching, and practice in the field of aging—particularly as they relate to Black older adults. While fundraising is still ongoing, we hope to provide travel support for up to 10 advanced students and early career researchers.

Submit your application using this form by Monday, October 20, 2025. Decisions will be made no later than Monday, October 27, 2025.
Please complete the form and upload one PDF that includes the following: Statement of interest (500 words or less) and NIH-style biosketch or resume for students. The statement of interest should address what you hope to gain from the GSA conference.
