43, RUE DE COURCELLES
Paris, May 22nd 1923.
Mr. P. A. de Laszlo,
3 Fitzjohn’s Avenue
London.
Dear Mr. Laszlo:
A thousand thanks for your charming note. Both Mrs. Dike[1] and I are looking forward to going over to London some time, but unfortunately our Good Will Delegations take up all our time and it is impossible for me to fix any definite date for going over to England at the moment. My mother is not arriving herself until the end of June, so I will have to arrange my visit to coincide with hers.[2]
Thank you for your suggestion of sending names of my friends. I have few friends in England and I am sure they are already friends of yours; as to my compatriots, they are coming over so fast and furiously that I do not know who is in London, who is in America, and I can’t give you their addresses and plans.
Very sincerely yours.
