I was glad to notice that you are to hold an exhibition of your work in London.[1] I was wondering if you would like to have my daughter’s portrait [6807]. I will be very willing to lend it to you and send it to any address you mention. Mrs Roberston

and I are going abroad on Friday, and will return to London on 17th, and stay till 19th inst. We would be delighted to call at your studio to see your work, as we are to be in the vicinity, called on Mr. Jas. McBey, an Aberdeen artist, at Holland Park.[2]
