But first we will be sitting down with our guest this week. You can find him filling your brains with Hearthstone knowledge on Youtube, Twitch, and many tournaments, he is Kripparrian!

Nozdormu/Joust Bug Fixed
Last week, some less-than-honorable players figured out that if you played multiple Joust minions with Nozdormu on the board that the animations for the Joust would go longer than their opponent’s turn so that they could not play at all. Needless to say this set the forums and fansites on fire. Community manager Wirthun tweeted shortly after the uproar that this was a bug, Team 5 was aware of it, and it was being working on. This past Thursday a hotfix went live fixing this issue.
$100,000 TeSPA Hearthstone Tournament
Starting this fall TeSPA is putting on a Collegiate Hearthstone tournament with a $100,000 in scholarships as the prize.
The format of the tournament has a twist as it is team-based. Teams from the U.S. and Canadian colleges will consist of three players. All three players will be able to work together against their three opponent’s playing one deck at a time as a unit. Accounts can be switched in between games. The overarching format is a standard Best of 5 Conquest (first team to win with all three of their classes moves on).
The top team from each of four regions will move on to compete at the live finals event later this year.
Perfect boardstate. Priest with Thoughtstolen Dreadsteed vs a Warlock. Both get the exact same board state of two super-buffed Jugglers and 5 Dreadsteeds which cause a near endless chain reaction of Dreadsteeds dying, coming back, and firing off one knife at a time for 16 minutes.

Hello happy Cluckers,
I have a question concerning picks in Arena. Firstly, I tend go for the safe pick. A card that will always perform, in any situation. As a result I find it hard to draft a coherent deck. The one is maybe a bit more aggressive than the other. But I can’t get to draft mechs or dragons for example.
I guess the underlying problem is that I have no idea in the first ten cards how many more chances I will get to pick spells/dragons/aggressive creatures/etc. Therefore it seems to be a big risk to dive into a specific strategy from the start. However, in the last portion of the picks it is too late to jump into a specific deck, although I see perfect cards for it in these last picks (Mechwarper for example).
Could you give me some advise to navigate through the picks to get a linear and cohesive deck without taking too much risk? Thanks.
And thanks a lot for the show. I appreciate the laid back style mixed with playing advice. (I have been playing ‘free to play’ for ten weeks now. I listened to quite some of your shows already and it makes playing Hearthstone much more fun.)
Schandlich
Hello Chickens! I have been trying semi-seriously since GVG to get to legend. I usually get around Ranks 7-5 and then run out of time. So the last two seasons I have tried to get an earlier start. I usually play an "anti-aggro" deck I have been honing for the past few seasons and it works well for me. Eventually, I switch to a control deck and finish the season using that one. The part I am having trouble with is the transition.
I always seem to calculate incorrectly when the meta has shifted away from aggro and I find myself trying to force one deck too soon or too late in a meta that is still transitioning. I then find myself spending a good chunk of the remaining season bouncing around 10-8. Is there any advice you can give me? Love the show.
