Code of Conduct
Purpose
The Colorado Cannabis Business Office Code of Conduct seeks to ensure all members of the cannabis business and social equity community, including staff of the Colorado Cannabis Business Office (CBO) and the Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade (OEDIT) are treated with respect by promoting inclusivity, sound business practices, responsibility, and integrity.
Inclusion
- Do not discriminate on the basis of race, creed, color, disability, national origin, ancestry, sex, sexual orientation, religion, or age.
- Avoid bias and be conscious of CBO values and how they influence professional decisions.
Professionalism
- Violence or threats of violence in all forms, including intimidating, coercing, harassing, or attempting to intimidate any member of the CBO staff or community will not be tolerated.
- Do not make false statements or claims in order to gain an advantage.
Sound Business Practices
- Do not engage in fraud, waste, or abuse.
- Be truthful and accurate in all statements about the business and practices of the business.
- Adhere to and stay within the scope of the grant agreed upon in the Statement of Work executed for the grant award.
- Maintain adequate records of funds dispersed and reports required.
Integrity and Responsibility
- Assume responsibility and accountability for all decisions and actions.
