1.  Do Now - (10 minutes)

  • Change. Grab your chromebooks. Click on this link and create a new account: http://ftcy.me/5JD93r
  • When you start creating your account you will be asked, “What would you like to accomplish?” select what your goal is.
  • Once your account has been created, click on the link for your class period. Everyone should join the “BHS - PE & Health” group:

2.  Whole Class - Fitness ASAP (20 minutes)

Complete a fitness ASAP for your warm up.

3.  Differentiated Instruction  - (0 minutes)

4.  Independent - Strength Training (60 minutes)

You will keep track of your routine today using the “Strength Training Record Form” found in Classroom. Using the form be sure to fill it out with the information from your workout today. You will have access to the equipment necessary to perform your exercises. Below is a list of the different exercise options you have.

  • Suspension Training
  • Resistance Bands/Tubes
  • Exercise Balls
  • Free weights (Dumbbells)
  • Kettlebells
  • Body weight/Calisthenics

You will be responsible for turning in your form at the end of the class. To get full credit you must complete a minimum of 10 different exercises that target at least 2 different muscle groups.

5. Collaborative - Project work (20 minutes)

  • Continue working on your project. Your project is due on Wednesday, December 16th, 2015.
  • You can find the rubric that you will be graded on at this link.

6.  Closure/Exit Ticket - (10 minutes)

Turn in assignment, 19.1 Strength Training. Be sure that your Strength Training Record Form is completely filled out.

Log off Chromebook. Turn in and plug in device in correct place.
