The Hungarian Quarterly, which I am happy to know gained your approval and which I am in charge of getting ready for print, has asked me to ask you to send an extract from your memoir for them to publish. It would be best if it could be an extract with a Hungarian connection. I warmly support them in this request. If you also agree, please send the manuscript – preferably the extract itself – to me and I will get it to them. If they should want any illustrations, I will be able to supply them.

Thank you very much for The Sketch, with your two beautifully reproduced paintings in it, which I have received.
