Food Chains- a hierarchical series of organisms each dependent on the next as a source of food. When the food chains link together its called food webs.
Heterotrophs have a relationship classified as predator- prey. It’s an organism deriving its nutritional requirements from complex organic substances.
Parasites are heterotrophs that live in or on another organism harming that organism I.E Host are the prey of the parasite. Examples of some parasites are:Tapeworms, fleas, lice, and barnacles.

Genetic Adaptations- Changes in the physical characteristics of the species ( more “successful” traits are rewarded by their reproduction in subsequent genes.
