Heterotrophs have a relationship classified as predator- prey. It’s an organism deriving its nutritional requirements from complex organic substances.

Parasites are heterotrophs that live in or on another organism harming that organism I.E Host are the prey of the parasite. Examples of some parasites are:Tapeworms, fleas, lice, and barnacles.
