My dear [handwritten] Henschel

I received your letter[1] and the enclosed and thank you very much for same.

I am very pleased to know to [sic] that I shall have an opportunity of showing your portrait [5594] in my Exhibition,[2] which will be opened on the 19th of June and only regret that you will be unable to be present at the opening, but in any case we shall see you on your route to Holland, when you will have an opportunity of seeing the Exhibition.

I envy you being already up in Scotland and from what I hear you will go to Holland and the Balfours will join you.

We are staying until the beginning of August, when we both hope to leave for Carlsbad for a three weeks cure while our boys will be on the Loire in France.

With kindest remembrances to you both.

Ever yours sincerely,
