Overview and Directions:

This lesson will focus on how North Africa and Southwest Asia has gotten to where it is today. The progress and development that has been made in this region could not have happened without some conflict and struggle between groups, populations, and land areas. This lesson will focus on both the conflicts and challenges that have taken place in this region, as well as the progress, growth, and developments that have resulted. Follow the directions on the activities that coordinate with this lesson to develop your understanding of progress, developments, and conflicts in North Africa and Southwest Asia.
