Using the Maryknoll Magazine Classroom Program: Accommodations

and Enrichment

The Maryknoll Magazine Classroom Program is one of the primary tools for teaching Christ’s call to mission to students in grades K-12.  This document serves to help teachers to engage students of differing learning styles and abilities more fully with mission through this program.

Definitions:

Accommodation – Modifying the learning environment and teaching strategies to promote learning.

Enrichment – Extending or supplementing a learning activity.

(Note: Often, a suggested modification can be viewed as both an accommodation and an enrichment activity.)
