Dear families,

We are on our last stretch! Let us run the race set before us with faithfulness. We can finish this well! Please work with me to ensure your students get the best grades they can get and get the most they can out of this year. I pray for them nightly. God bless,

Rose Garr

If you are driving on our field trip for Sunsplash, please bring an updated version of your insurance to the office by this Friday (sorry for the inconvenience, but we’d rather take this extra step and ensure everyone is safe, than be sorry).

Book report:

We are doing something fun for this report, they have the option of writing a normal book report that they have written before, or doing creative writing. The creative writing piece will be based off of the book they read. If they read Andersen’s Fairy Tales, they will write a retelling. They will take their favorite story from the book and write a different version of the same story - a story where Cinderella is in modern times, or where the Big Bad Wolf was just looking for some sugar.

If they read The One and Only Ivan - they will write a story written from an animal’s perspective. There must be a conflict, and a resolution. Have fun!
