Reflect on the writing process, feedback, and revision choices you made in the Lesson 2 activities by answering these questions in your eportfolio journal:

  1. What feedback surprised you?
  2. What revisions did you decide to make because of feedback from others?
  3. What feedback did you choose to ignore? Why?
  4. How did you feel asking for and receiving feedback from others?

 Step 2. Create2.jpg

Using standard proofreading marks (Proofreading[2]), proofread your 5 pieces of original writing in order to make final corrections and get them ready for publishing on your writing website which will be submitted to your eportfolio in Lesson 3: Activity 2.

 Step 3.

To extend your proofreading practice, take this 50-question quiz: Punctuation, Capitalization, and Writing Numbers Mastery Test[3]. After you answer all the questions, it will grade your quiz and explain the answers. Use the results to determine what punctuation skills you need to further practice on your own.
