May 7, 2026

Delphos St Johns Students who have signed up to participate in the Mission Society Olympics and who have your own transportation will be dismissed at 12:00.Sign out in the front office and sign in at the high school.

Students:Chromebook checkout deadline is Monday, May 11th.

Paulding Students can purchase prom tickets $30 single, $50 couple, there is a $20 discount to senior class student council, today through Friday at the high school.

Van Wert Seniors: The annual Van Wert High School Awards Ceremony will be held tomorrow beginning at 10:00 a.m. in the PAC. All Van Wert Seniors should be in attendance but must provide your own transportation. You will be dismissed at 9:10 and must be there by 9:30. No ripped, torn or faded jeans be worn along with no shorts, sweats or t-shirts.

This is a reminder that tomorrow during student lunches will be the Media Center's annual MUSIC DAY! Students that are signed up should get in contact with Mr. Gunsett, should they need any background music for your performance.

This is a reminder that Lunch C Book Club members will be having their FINAL meeting today, during their lunch period! Please see Mr. Gunsett if you have any questions or concerns.

Ft Jennings Students who would like to attend the Field Day at the high school and who have your own transportation will be dismissed at 11:30. Delphos Jefferson Students with your own transportation will be dismissed at 12:25 to attend the Mock Crash at the high school. St Johns Seniors with your own transportation will be dismissed at 2:00 to attend Decision Day at the high school. You will need to sign out in the front office here and sign in at your school.

Students from Crestview, Lincolnview and Van Wert who would like to volunteer for the Van Wert County Dare Camp on June 16-18, should sign up in Student Services by Friday, May 1st.

Antwerp prom tickets are available before school in the main rotunda and will remain on sale until Monday, April 20th. Tickets are $45 each.

Van Wert Students can pick up prom guest forms in Student Services.Guest forms need to be turned in by Thursday, April 23rd. Prom tickets go on sale next week at the high school for $15 each. Seniors receive free admission but must pick their ticket up in advance. Juniors can come help decorate for prom after school today and also all next week from 3:30-? If you are in sports, you are welcome to come afterwards. Also, after prom tickets are $5 and will be available when you get their prom tickets. That includes, food, drinks, bowling, and prizes.

Congratulations to the Vantage Agricultural Mechanics Team for earning 2nd place at the District Contest and qualifying for the State Agricultural Mechanics Contest to be held Friday, April 3rd at The Ohio State University ATI campus.

Team members include Logan Sheets, Griffin Gunter, and Wyatt Burkhart, coached by Mr. Mike Miller.

Peony Queen candidates must write an essay of 250 words or less stating why she would like to be Queen Jubilee 51, go through an interview process and also have a talent selection for the pageant. The Brumback Library in Van Wert is hosting several teen activities throughout the summer as part of their "Color Our World" Summer Reading Program. Teen activities include a Teen Art Showcase, crafts, a color war event, and a Teen Cosplay/Costume Showcase. Stop in the Media Center or at the Brumback Library for more information.

The aluminum can fundraiser raised $672. This is in part due to Century Trading Company matching the amount raised and giving us significant support. Peony Queen candidates must write an essay of 250 words or less stating why she would like to be Queen Jubilee L(50), go through an interview process, and also have a talent selection for the pageant. All candidates must be able to attend all required scheduled events, including meet the candidates at various local club meetings, pageant rehearsals, the Peony Pageant, the Peony festival, and various local parades. Again, any senior girl interested in representing Vantage as a candidate in this pageant must see Mrs. Evans in room C-14 and pick up an application. Applications and the essay are due to Mrs. Evans by Tuesday, November 12. A committee will then select applicants to interview. All applicants selected to interview will also be required to show the committee their talent portion. Wayne Trace Students:Mrs. Franz will be here to sell Homecoming tickets before school tomorrow. You can buy them from her or at Wayne Trace. Tickets are $10 a ticket. She will also have Powder Puff shirts, if you ordered them, and academic awards if you were not at the program on Tuesday. Please see Mrs. Franz from 7:50 until announcements in the cafeteria on Thursday.

Would all students who will be inducted into the National Technical Honor Society please report to the commons at this time for a brief meeting with Mr. Winans.

This week is Banned Books Week, a national event celebrating the freedom to read. Stop in the Media Center to sign up for the drawing, answer the banned book trivia questions for a prize, and check out the Wanted posters in the hallway.

Crestview Students can purchase homecoming tickets this week in Mr. Hicks room at the high school for $4 or $5 at the door.

Lincolnview Seniors make sure you stop at Lincolnview for your composite picture on FRIDAY, September 20th. The photographer will be set up by 7:30 in the high school gym. This allows you to be in the composite photo with your classmates and the alumni wall.
