Kyle’s Trip

Kyle was hiking down to the mining town to explore. He went in the old shop. It was made out of stone.  Then he went down to the mineshaft. He grabbed a stick off the ground and pretended to mine  with it on the walls of the mineshaft. He was  hitting a wall with it and he saw something very small shining. He looked close and saw GOLD!!

           He ran out of the mine shaft and went to a park ranger. He told him to come down there. He didn’t believe Kyle. Then Kyle’s Mom told Kyle he had to come up to their condo.

“Mom Please 5 more minutes please!” Said Kyle.

“Nope sorry!” Said his mom.

“Awwwwww” Said Kyle.

He had to go but he could come back tomorrow. He went back to his condo and went swimming. He played marco-polo. He had fun!

Then we went to bed… He dreamed about the gold coming out of the wall and talking to him. The gold said he should not take him out of the wall. It was a historical landmark he should not remove the gold.

         Then he woke up. He was ready to go back to the gold. He asked his Mom if he could hike down to the mineshaft but she said,

“We are going to a different town today! We are stopping for lunch on the way at the best restaurant in the state! The town is about 2 hours away!”

      Oh no! Thought Kyle he would not be able to get the gold! He was very worried, his Mom and Dad were already packing up the car to go!!!!!

    ...    

He snuck behind the condo and looked around. The coast was clear. He sprinted to the park. He ran into the mineshaft and looked for the gold. He saw it and pulled it to try to get it out. He couldn’t get it! Then he remembered there was old miners pickaxes on display at the top of the mineshaft.  He grabbed a big rock and ran to the top of the mineshaft.

He hesitated for a second then smashed the glass! He grabbed the pickaxe and ran down the mineshaft and hit the gold with the pickaxe and broke the gold. He grabbed it off the ground. He put the pickaxe back on it’s stand, he brushed the handle. He ran back to his car.  He went through the backdoor of his condo and came out the front.

He went in the car and they drove away. They went to a town called Moab. It was far away! He watched Star Wars in the car. He watched  The Empire Strikes Back.  It was his favorite movie

Then he got to Moab. He went to a restaurant. He ordered a cheeseburger with fries and lemonade. He got ice cream after. They talked about what to do tomorrow. I voted to rent a condo called Moab Springs Ranch. It had a pool and a small lake and stream. So we did that. We moved our stuff in the condo and explored the campus. We went swimming and played Marco Polo.

I was it first.

“Marco!” I yelled!

“Polo” My dad and sister said.

I swam down and reached out underwater. I felt water move by my hand and I almost got one of them! My sister is easy to get because she always laughs. I got her so she was it.

“Marco” She yells!

“POLO!!!” Me and my dad yell! My sister comes towards us and my dad throws me over her to safety!

I asked my mom to ask my friend Max to see us who moved to Moab last year. She said she could see if Max could have a 2 day sleepover. We could also go to Arches with him! Max said there there was a good milkshake shop down the road so we went there.

I really liked that place. The next day we went swimming. Then we went to Arches.

 At Arches we saw a huge arch as big as a football field. It was called landscape arch. There was more than 2,000 arches! I went to a place in arches called The Fiery Furnace. You had to climb through places and duck. It was very fun.

We went back to our condo and went swimming. We went to the stream to the lake and dared each other to go in the hot tub then jump in the pool then the lake. I did it for $10! Then we played water polo in the pool.

After that we played hide n seek in the yard. It was very fun! I snuck around the condos into a bush. I then saw him coming so I went back around and went through the fence and behind the tree on a hill by the creek. I flattened myself against the hill and stayed. Then he came by so I had to move. I went to a different hill.  I eventually got found after I went inside.

      Then we went to dinner. I got a burger. Afterwards I got some ice cream. I got strawberry. It was very creamy! It was great! Then we went back to our condo.

      We went in the hot tub. It was warm. There was a bee’s nest in the top where the roof was though. Then we went to bed. Me and Max made a fort to sleep in. It was cool!

      There was a room that had food, a room that had a bed and a room that had a laptop (we were using it to watch stuff).

     In the morning Max’s Mom came to pick up Max we asked if if they could come home to Oregon with us. They said no but they said they could visit sometime! Then she gave me a birthday present from Max! It was a Pokemon trainer box! It was AWESOME! I opened it and got mega Charizard!

     Then he went home and we packed up to leave. We were taking a plane home that could carry our car. It was cool! When  got home I opened the rest of the packs and got a good card!

     Then I decided to cash in the gold! I cashed it in for $1,500! Then I bought a new laptop! It was a apple computer. Then with the leftover money I bought 2 booster boxes. I opened them and got 5 megas! It was cool.

      I asked my mom if I could go to the park to see my friend who was also Max’s friend to tell him about Max. She said I could go so I grabbed my bike and called my friend. He didn’t answer! He has never not answered before! (By the way his name is Lorenzo). I called his mom, but she didn’t answer either! So I decided to call another friend named Erikson.

 I was worried about Lorenzo though. Then I called Erikson. He said he was busy and couldn't play then so I went inside and played video games. I played minecraft. It was fun! I beat the Ender Dragon for the 523 time! My friends record put all together is only 20! (3 friends) My record of killing   the Ender Dragon is 2,599! oops now it's 2,600.

Today I called Lorenzo he didn’t answer…
