Dear Mr de Laszlo –
With great efforts we got the work completely finished ready for you last Thursday – before Easter – but I learn from Baldry[1] that you probably will not now be returning till the middle of the month.
I sincerely hope you will be pleased with the result. – I personally think it has ‘made’ the studios – and I shall be pleased to call on you on your return to discuss any point that may occur and show you my proposal for overmantel to study fireplace. –
I hope you have had a delightful holiday and are feeling very fit as a result of your change –
Yours sincerely
G. Berkeley Wills
