Who can attend Day 1 & 2 of the AHM?

Days 1 & 2 are open to the BD2K grantee community, which includes BD2K program staff, BD2K grantees (BD2K-funded investigators and trainees), and NIH employees as space permits.

 

Who can attend Day 3 of the AHM?

Day 3 is open to the public.  BD2K grantees are not required to attend, but are strongly encouraged to stay.

 

Can more than one PI of a BD2K grant attend the AHM?

Attendance is not limited to one principal investigator.  All PIs on a grant and members of the lab are welcome and encouraged to attend the meeting.

 

I am a student.  Can I attend the BD2K All Hands Meeting?

Students on BD2K T15 and T32 grants and graduate students that are research assistants on other BD2K grants are welcome (but not required) to attend the All Hands Meeting.  Attendance by undergraduate students is not encouraged.

 

Who can submit an abstract for a poster, demo, or oral presentation?

All BD2K grantees are eligible to submit an abstract.

 

I am a student.  Can I submit an abstract for poster?

Yes, students on T15 and T32 grants are welcome to submit an abstract for a poster, a presentation, or a demo.

 

Can I submit more than one abstract?

Yes, all abstracts will be reviewed by the lead of the session to which you have submitted your abstracts.

 

What happens if my abstract is not selected?

If you have submitted an abstract for a poster and it was not selected by the session lead for a physical poster, demo, or presentation, your poster could still be displayed as a digital poster.
