Artist Bio: Karen Mosbacher - Art that Nourishes the Senses Ms. Mosbacher began as an intuitive artist as a young girl, creating art and writing stories while under her father’s piano as he practiced for his next concert. Karen’s creative progression is influenced by her recognition of the grandeur and splendor of everyday encounters. In her work, her paintings express a dynamic sense of color, texture, and emotion that delight and inspire her collectors. Holding a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Oklahoma and The Weitzenhoffer Family College of Fine Arts, as well as a Master of Divinity Degree from Phillips Theological Seminary, her art is created through her synesthetic process and expresses an abundant enthusiasm representing the emotions of life. * synesthesia – the production of a sense impression relating to one sense or part of the body by stimulation of another sense or part of the body. i.e., Listening to music produces a moving vision of color, texture, and shape.
