Урок № 23

Тема: «Незвичайні святкування»

Цілі:  1) активізувати лексичний матеріал за темою уроку;

          2) практикувати учнів у читанні та аудиюванні з метою отримання загального уявлення та максимально  

            точного розуміння всієї інформації;

           3) описувати різні культурні традиції та святкування ;

           4) розширити знання учнів про незвичні святкування в Великій Британії;

           5) прищеплювати повагу до тадицій народу, мова якого вивчається.

     Обладнання: підручник Solutions(pre-intermeddiate), робочий зошит, роздатковий матеріал (HO1), (HO2), (HO3),  телевізор, DVD-програвач, Word on the Street (Teacher’s Resource Pack, British Council).

                                                                       Хід уроку.

I. Підготовка до сприйняття іншомовного мовлення.

1. Організаційний момент. Привітання учнів. Повідомлення теми і цілей уроку.
2. Введення в іншомовну атмосферу. Мовленнєва розминка.

Put the word celebrations on the board and elicit students’ associations. Ask what celebrations students dislike and do not/are not going to observe in their adult lives.

3. Перевірка домашнього завдання.

Students present their dialogues in making invitations and accepting or declining. (SB, ex.5,6 p.70)

ІІ. Основна частина уроку.

1.  Читання.

1. Підготовка до читання. Pre-reading activity (SB, ex.5 p.83)

2. Читання з метою отримання загальної інформації . Skimming (SB, ex.6 p.83).

T.: Read the text below. Match each paragraph with one of the following headings. There is one extra heading that you don’t need.

3. Детальне читання. Scanning.

T.: Read again and complete the table.

4. Етап перевірки прочитаного. After-reading activity (SB, ex.7 p.83)

T.: Answer the questions.

       2.   Аудіювання. Перегляд відео.

           1)  Підготовка до аудіювання. Pre-listening activity.

           2) Аудіювання. Перегляд відео.

       Т.: Watch the video about another unusual celebration – Bonfire Night and fill in the table you have already started to complete.

           3) Етап перевірки почутого та побаченого. Comprehension check.

3. Говоріння.

T.: Think of a festival or special event in your country. Fill in the table.

T.: Imagine you are a TV reporter. Use the completed table to present one of the festivals .
