Dear Parents/Guardians:

The year 2020 continues to be a challenge as Tropical Storm Isaias wreaked havoc on our state. We hope that our entire community is safe and well in the aftermath of the storm.

Governor Murphy recently announced that all students will be required to wear masks while in school regardless of social distancing. He also reduced the indoor capacity limit and it is mandatory that physical barriers be present in schools when 6 feet of distancing cannot be accommodated. It was our hope to open our schools for maximum in-person learning to all of our families, but unfortunately we will need to dramatically reduce our building capacity while decreasing class sizes.

With the safety of students and staff as our primary concern, in September our plan will change to a hybrid. Please be patient while the hybrid schedules are developed. We will provide an update at the end of next week. Parents and guardians, please be aware we may need to pivot to full remote learning at any time.

As a result of this change, another survey will be following soon while we wait for further guidance and develop the details of our hybrid plan for parents to make an informed decision.

The reopening process continues to be an extraordinary challenge. Your continued support and flexibility are greatly appreciated.
