This guide is made for Yui's Seamless Co-op mod for Elden Ring. (https://www.nexusmods.com/eldenring/mods/510)

This new guide is probably easier too! It seems like a long guide but it’s really simple really, I just want to make sure anyone who sees this guide won’t have any issues, so I will go quite in-depth :)

1. Go to the online fix website I linked above, and download the files:

Scroll down to here, and click this button

Then click this (ignore the other files):

Then this:

2. Before you unzip the file, add an exclusion for elden ring in your antivirus software. This will be different for different antiviruses, but windows defender is good enough for 99% of people, so I recommend you just use that if you’re on windows.

(You can also just disable your antivirus while you play, but this way you only have to do it once and then you don’t have to worry about it again. If you do not disable anti-virus / make exclusion, windows defender will delete “OnlineFix64.dll” because it falsely thinks it’s a virus (it’s perfectly safe), which will break the fix.
Follow step 1 again if windows deletes this file.)

Search “virus and threat protection” and get to this page, and click this:

Next, scroll all the way to the bottom, and click this:

Click “Add an exclusion” then “Folder”

Navigate to your “ELDEN RING” folder and press “Select Folder”.

3. For the next step, First, move the .rar file you downloaded into your “ELDEN RING\GAME” folder (the one with eldenring.exe), right click it and “extract here” through winrar (or do the same thing with 7zip or whatever)

You’ll be asked for a password, which is: “online-fix.me” (remove the “ of course). This is also shown on the online fix website, you can copy from there.

Make sure there’s no spaces before or after the password, because that will cause it to fail.

Once you’re done, all of the online fix files should be in the same place as eldenring.exe 👍

If you’re asked to overwrite anything, just select yes. Make sure to also install seamless coop, and set a coop password! With this method, there could be a lot of people using the same “steam server” - as this method replaces the elden ring steam server used to connect you and your friends with the “Spacewar” server, which is also public and likely used by quite a few people. So make sure you have a password so randoms don’t join your game.

You should be able to just use the mod as usual! If it’s working, you’ll be able to open the steam overlay and you’ll be shown online in steam playing “Spacewar”
