QuickTime Recording
- Find the video you want to record and get the screen ready
- Launch QuickTime Player

- spotlight search “quicktime”
- File -->New Screen Recording
- Click the small arrow on the right hand side. Make sure the microphone is turned on

- Arrange the computer windows as you want to capture them, and then click the Record button.
- If you want to record only a portion of the screen, drag the pointer to select the portion of the screen you want to record, and then click Start Recording.
- To adjust the portion of the screen you selected, drag the small gray circles along the edges of the screen recording rectangle or drag the entire screen recording rectangle to another location on the screen.
- While recording you can pause and re-start your video, and circle or highlight things with your mouse.
- To stop the recording, click the Stop button, or press Command-Control-Escape.
- NOTE: You CANNOT pause recording! But you can record as many times as you want.
- Try to record your entire video in one try.
- It is helpful to PRACTICE reading your script and playing your video.
- If you have to, you can splice together multiple clips using the edit button. Click edit-->Add Clip to End
- to do this, you need to have all your clips saved on the same computer!
- When you are finished, click File-->Export
- Give your file a name
- Upload your finished file to Google Drive and share with your teacher.
